Fall Studies 2015!

It's time to register for our morning fall study!! We will be studying Priscilla Shirer's Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted. We will begin meeting weekly Tuesday Sept 15th from 9:30-11:45am. Childcare is available. Register at: https://my.oakhillschurch.com/default.aspx?page=3322&eventId=3937

Summer wrap up!

Our summer study has come to a close and it was amazing! We studied Breathe by Priscilla Shirer. 

We will start our next study (AM and PM) in the fall. Stay tuned for details. We will have a few get togethers between now and then including play dates, ladies nights, and a couples' date night. Fall Studies and Couples' Dinner

Our fall studies are up and running! Feel free to join us at any time. No need to start or finish up a study with us (although we'd love that!), just jump right in whenever the spirit moves you. :)

Morning Study:
Our morning study meets Tuesday mornings at Oak Hills church (Crownridge Campus out I-10) from 9:30-11:45. We are currently studying "Extreme Prayer" by Greg Pruett. (childcare available)

Our evening study is currently meeting Monday evenings and studying "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World: Finding Intimacy With God in the Busyness of Life" by Joanna Weaver.

SBS - SA Life Group

SBS - SA has decided the ladies are having way too much fun to let our hubby's miss out, so we started a Life Group that meets every other Sunday from 5-7pm.  Food is served and childcare is available. It is a very casual study that focuses on God and fellowship. We are studying a Kay Arthur book called "Turning Your Heart Toward God." No reading or homework required and you can jump in whenever you'd like. Come as you are and tell your husband not to worry about his pager/phone going off mid-discussion. Welcome to Side by Side, San Antonio! We're so excited you've found our page! This blog is to serve as an information page to help you get plugged into the Side by Side community here in San Antonio. We will continue to post more up-to-date information on our Side by Side Facebook page. Please "like" us to receive the most current info!

What is Side by Side? Side by Side is a ministry to women who are married to medical and dental students, residents, fellows, as well as staff physicians and dentists. Affiliated with the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, we are a non-denominational, Bible-based ministry that is evangelical in nature. We seek to encourage, support and minister to women in medical marriages through fellowship, Bible study and prayer.

Monday Evening Study
7:00-8:30 PM
Study: Sermon on the Mount *All you need is your Bible, no book required.
Location: Jackie's home in the medical center

Tuesday Morning Study
9:30-11:45 AM
Study: Being a Disciple: Counting the Real Cost by Kay Arthur
Location: Oak Hills Church, Crownridge Campus (19595 IH 10 West San Antonio, TX 78257)
*Childcare is available

Sunday Evening Life Group
5:00pm-7:00pm (every other Sunday)
Study: Turning Your Heart Toward God by Kay Arthur
Location: We take turns hosting at each other's homes
*Childcare and food is available
